    PHICHIT BOAT RACES
    At Nan River in front of Wat Tha Luang, Phichit
    Phichit is located one of the most beautiful parts of Thailand, with green valleys and picturesque wooded hills. This annual regatta takes place on the Nan River which runs through the provincial capital and features numerous low-slung wooden boats races with great gusto to the cheers of spectators.

LANGSAT FAIR
At City Hall Stadium, Uttaradit
Langsat a fruit eaten raw is a specialty of Uttaradit and celebrated in this typical provincial fair. Among the features are a display and sale of products made by the people of Lap Lae a village noted for its handicrafts, numerous forms of local entertainment and a contest to select a beauty queen.

CHINESE LUNAR FESTIVAL
Songkhla
Thais of Chinese ancestry make offerings to the Moon of Queen of the Heavens in gratitude for past and future fortune. Traditional festivities include lion and dragon dances, Lantern processions and contests, displays and folk entertainment

PHITSANULOK BOAT RACES
At Nan River in front of Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mahathat Maha Worawihan, Phitsanulok
This annual regatta features long-boat racing on the Nan River. Other celebrations include decorative boat and team-cheering competitions

KORLAE BOAT RACING & NARATHIWAT PRODUCTS FESTIVAL
At Bang Nara River and citywide, Narathiwat
Staged at the Bangnara River, the festival features boat racing and dove cooing contests and the sale of Narathiwat products including longans, bulrush (Genus Scirpus ) products and other local handicrafts.

Phuket Vegetarian Festival
Amphoe Kathu,Amphoe Muang & Amphoe Thalang, Phuket
This annual event is held during the 9th Chinese calendar month in which the locals of Chinese ancestry undertake a ten-day vegetarian diet. Various rituals are performed at Chinese temples and there are processions of ascetic devotees performing remarkable feats such as fire-walking and climbing ladders with knife-edged rungs.

TRANG VEGETARIAN FESTIVAL
At Kio Ong la and Chao Pho Muen Ram Chinese Shrines, Trang
This annual festival originated among migrant workers during the 19th century Residents of Chinese ancestry go on a ten day vegetarian diet and there are ceremonies at local Chinese Temples as well as parades that feature remarkable feats by ascetic believers.

THE UM PHRA DAM NAM FESTIVAL
At Phetchabun Provincial Hall, Triphum Temple, Bot Chanaman Temple of Muang District, Phetchabun
During the Sart Thai Festival the people of Phetchabun will hold the Um Phra Dam Nam Festival with a procession of the Phra Buddha Maha Thammaracha Buddha image, the principle Buddha image of Phetchabun, around the city. The governor of the province presides at a ceremony where he dives with the Buddha image in his hand into the river in all four directions according to traditional beliefs that happiness and fertility will ensue. After that, the Phra Buddha Maha Thammaracha is brought to the provincial hall to be bathed in lustral water by the public. Fun-filled forms of entertainment are provided throughout the duration of the festival.
