Meeting Information

| We meet on the second Sunday of each month except July and August. Visitors are welcome!! |
| Our meetings are held at 3640 Colonial Ave. in Roanoke at the Roanoke Garden Clubs Building. We have a lunch starting at 12:30 with the business meeting at 1:30. Usually we end up having to move April and May meetings to the 3rd Sunday because of Mothers Day and Easter. |
| After the business we generally have either a speaker who brings plants to sell or a slide program etc. Also, members can bring their plants to sell. We have a mini-show every meeting unless specified in the newsletter where everyone brings plants to be judged and get points for ribbons. If you have flowers to show for the minishow, they must be entered before Judging begins at 1:00 P.M.. There will be any number of people there who will be glad to show you how it's done so if you have a pretty flower at home, bring it. Also we usually have a raffle plant that someone contributes, and we sell tickets for .50 or 3/1.00 . |
| After the business meeting and program we wander over to the minishow to look at everyone's pretty blooms then adjourn. Generally the meeting is over by 3:30 or so. |
