The System Controls | In the drivers seat |
|||
The system has two means of control. All lights are accessible from the main lighting console, the NSI 7500 36/64 channel theatrical lighting board. The house lights in the sanctuary may also be controlled by any of the four wall mount remote programmed panels, the NSI 400 CP.
These panels with onboard digital processing mount in a normal dual-gang wall box. The panels have four programmed zones that sectionalize the house lights in the sanctuary to specific areas of illumination. The panels use a master/ slave programming configuration. Only one master panel contains the program; the others "slave" to this information. The system responds to the controller with the greater signal. During productions the wall panels may be locked out of the system to avoid any surprises during a performance. (Words of experience!)
