• Electronically controlled digital lock with a feather touch keypad: Designed to open to the command of passwords decided by the customer. Thereby removing the risk of losing, duplication or misuse of keys, since the keys are not required at all for safe operation.
• Dual password levels: 2 passwords are provided. A user and master password respectively. In case one forgets the user password, the master password can be used to open the safe. Thus ensuring double safety.
• 3-16 digit password capability: The user and the master password can be set from a 3 digit number to a 16 digit number (a total of nearly 1000 trillion combinations), ensuring complete safety.
• Auto freeze: After punching in three wrong passwords consecutively the keypad shall freeze for a period of five minutes, i.e. it shall not accept any entries for that duration. This has been done to eliminate the chances of an unauthorized person from trying different combinations to open the safe.
• Progressive lock out: If during the auto freeze time, the keypad is operated, the lock out period gets extended by another five minutes.
• Battery backup: The safe is powered by 4 * 1.5V pencil cells, that last for two years (assuming four operations per day). Due to this low power consumption, the maintenance costs are kept to the bare minimum.
• Low battery status indicator: A low battery indicator (LBS) has been provided to give an audiovisual signal to ensure that the battery is replaced in time.
• Mechanical Over-drive In case, the customer forgets master and user passwords, an emergency mechanical over-drive has been provided which enables the safe to be opened without causing any damage to it.
• Non volatile memory: The sophisticated circuitry design ensures that the user and master passwords do not get erased during battery drain or removal.
• Strong body:The body of the safe is made using prime quality steel and is of single plate multibend construction. This gives the safe that added strength it needs.
• Solid steel plate door hung on concealed pivot: The door is made of solid 5mm prime quality steel. When the door is closed, the door surface is received into the safe and hence does not jut out. Also the pivot is totally concealed inside the coffer, thus making it temper proof.
