Welcome to the STAWRS Employer Assistance Kit (SEAK) web site. This site was designed with your business needs in mind. We offer a one-stop guide for all of your tax and wage reporting issues.

If this is your first visit, we suggest that you take a moment to find out more about the initiatives of the STAWRS program. This area will be updated periodically as we explore more electronic solutions to simplify your tax and wage reporting burden.

Currently, we are working on a pilot program for the Employer Identification Number (EIN). There are many issues yet to be resolved, however, this is an example of using an emerging electronic technology (i.e. the internet) to simplify a complex business process.

We are also working with both federal and state agencies to harmonize our technical solutions with each administrations' needs. As a convenience we have provided directed links to the Social Security Administration, the Department of Labor and the Internal Revenue Service web sites.

As a further convenience, we are providing a Quick Links section. This is an annotation and hyper link service to seek information on industry related web sites. If you are an information provider, you can submit your URL for inclusion in our Quick Links section.
