Take the sport of throwing a Frisbee, (or more generically, a flying disc), and combine it with the sport of golf, (substitute upright baskets for the holes) and you get Disc Golf. The GeekWorld Invitational Polar Bear Disc Golf Tournament -
If Norwegian bachelor farmers from Minnesota can take an annual Polar Bear Plunge, then why shouldn't those of us who fling an occasional disc also hit the links at the beginning of each year? Starting on January 1st, 2002, we have annually held The GeekWorld Invitiational Polar Bear Disc Golf Tournament. The weather has been anything from snow to rain to unusually mild, but the event is always great fun. Everyone is welcome!
