At the onset of GeekWorld, the founding members were informally addressed with the term of honor, Brother, preceding their names. Had there been any female members at the time, then there would have been Sistren to join the Brethren.
Later, we adopted a public radio theme of addressing the constituency. This means that we followed the previous name with the phrase "of member station GWXX" where the GW represented GeekWorld, and the XX represented something unique to that particular member.
