Eleanor Roosevelt High School is located in Greenbelt, Maryland. We've been competing in the F.I.R.S.T. competition for three years now, and are composed mainly of juniors and seniors.  Mr. Pruett, who teaches one of the Engineering Foundation (a nice way of saying shop) classes, is our teacher, mentor, and supervisor. He's been with us since the beginning, and (we hope) will be there for the end.

Ever since our creation back in the 1997-98 school year, the NASA Goddard Space Center has been our primary sponsor. Aside from providing essential funds necessary to register and compete, Goddard has graciously extended us the use of both their facilities and the expertise of their staff. This year we are fortunate to have engineers supporting us from Mantech, a corporation based near our school.  Their engineers are an invaluable source of information and experience, and we are VERY grateful for their presence.
