I was born about 30 years ago in Morocco in a town called Oujda, where my parents used to teach physics and French language at a local school.
After a couple of months they moved back to France, and all that remains is a few black and white pictures that they took there.
Fortunately, photography used to be one of my father's hobbies, and he used to take and develop hundreds of pictures himself.
I never had the opportunity to go back to that country, but I surely will make a trip there within 2 or 3 years, as I would love to see the place.
I searched the internet for information on the area, and found gorgeous pictures of gardens, orchards, as well as the ancient medina or massive gateways. Looks wonderful. I definitely have to go and see what happens there.

I spent my early years in France in Cluses, Haute Savoie which is a wonderful area surrounded by mountains. The town itself looks quite dodgy, but the surrounding mountains and ski results are really worth a trip (Chamonix Mont Blanc, Morzine, La Clusaz, Annecy, ...) Of course my activities included skiing, rock climbing, paragliding or canyoning.
My studies took me then to Geneva - Switzerland, and Grenoble - France. I studied computer engineering at the Geneva Engineering school and then at the univerity of Grenoble. I started playing music with some good friends, and we played live on a few occasions, mainly in Morzine, Les Gets and Cluses. We played some goodies including personal versions of Suede, Therapy, Hendrix, Led Zep, Oasis, Smashing Pumpkins, ... During the winter season, we sometimes played up to twice a week in local night clubs. I used to sing and play the bass guitar. Benoit was playing rythm guitars, Nico played the guitar solos and Alex played the drums. We really had good fun and made money enough to help buying good music instruments - Fender Stratocaster, Gibson Les Paul, Pearl drums... . Vincent who played the bass guitar letf the band after a couple of months for some unknown reason.
Back in '94 I decided to move to London to perfect my knowledge of the English language, as I was feeling that it would be mandatory for my future career in computers engineering to master this language. So I moved to sunny Streatham - South of London and started working in various professional areas. I really Loved London. I was astonished by the cultural differences between Uk and France, even if the 2 countries are only separated by a few miles. I found the lifestyle very interesting, and enjoyed meeting locals in the various pubs of the city. I shared a house with a few friends: Sophie, Laurence and Vero. Occasionally, other friends came to live with us: Benoit, Kevin, Robert amongst others. After a couple of years I decided to head back to France where I was permanently employed by Hewlett Packard.
