a little bit underworked. So they decided to take their computers, connect
them - and do something with it. They took some of their equipment to the
basement of a friend´s home and began to play..."

Every now and then we come together at Hofi´s place and build up our
computers at the basement of his home (that´s why we called this
homepage "THE CELLAR" :). The first sessions had been just jor playing games.
But it didn´t take long time ´till we recognized that we could
connect our LAN to the rest of the world. Since this, every session is a
"surf - the - internet - all - the - night - and - be - tired - for - one - week" - event.

This was the time when we really needed Füri. He connected our LAN to the
rest of the world. I don´t know if there is any connection to this - but
his Netscape loads much faster than our´s :-)
He also infected us with Linux. He showed us that Linux isn´t *that* hard
to understand, and that it´s quite powerful. (Well, after all the most
impressing argument was the price...). Right now there is not a single
computer without Linux in THE CELLAR.
Allthough "mik" has done great work for our sessions, we (have been) are also
very dependend on Jüpi.

You ask why? You say "Hey! You can play, you can surf, why do you need
more ?" Well - he (had been) the only one of us, who had an internet-
account.
He´s quite a nice person, but after 4 hours surfing the web he gets a
little bit nervous, his blood-pressure raises, and he is getting troublesome.
IMAGINE: At this time he hasn´t played Descent
for 4(!!!) hours! If you are as Descent-addicted as Jüpi, you should take a look at his

The next person in our little club is Reisi. He´s the one who helps us to
consume our internet-bandwith as good as possible. Allthough he is sitting in
front of 50Hz-Flimmerbox he gives his best to slow down the net. I´ve
never seen a person with *that* much Netscape´s opened in such a short
time...
|

|
And I? Well, I give my best to support Reisi in consuming bandwith. The time
I´m not surfing the web, I´m designing this homepage. So if you
