Jasmine seems to be many things to many people: slut, witch, tramp, wizardess, whore, mother, prostitute, wife, swinger, bar owner, trollop; too bad most of these labels are superficial. Jasmine knows who she is and enjoys letting people think what they will; it only makes them more likely to underestimate her.
Physically, Jasmine is pretty in a wholesome-but-reasonable way; she could easily pass for the belle of the village. And yet she is still far from the paragon of female beauty; indeed, she knows many druids, sorcerers, bards, and common folk who are far more attractive. Her secret is how she uses her natural charms.
Jasmine stands 5'7" and weighs only 118lbs, with ample breasts and a slender waist. Her hair is long, luxurious, platinum blonde with her bright, blue-green eyes making a startling contrast. Her fair face is set off by her small, button nose, happy smile, and cute dimples. Her frown draws sympathy and her pout will melt a man's heart.
While Jasmine's beauty is exceptional rather than extraodinary, her intellect is the reverse. She is a brilliant student of human behavior and a mistress of manipulation. Good-natured and free-spirited, Jas uses these skills to get what she wants, be it physical pleasure, hidden information, or simply her way. Were that all she possessed, Jasmine would be far less noteworthy, but she is also a wizardess skilled in the lore of sex-magic. Her spells and charms are legendary.
Early in her adventuring career, Jasmine came across the nascent town of Klarr and the heroes that founded it. She joined these early adventuring parties, taking Sir Grimrod for a lover and making friends with Fingle (a kenku) and Thailine uth Matar. Later, Jasmine seduced the neophyte paladin of Athena, Reiszor Chamois, although their relationship never proved stable. Soon after, Jasmine gave birth to a daughter, Adama, who's father turned out to be Brand. She seduced Treblo as a joke, but that relationship didn't work out either. When Jas returned from the world of Orion, Jasmine brought with her Mikhail, her son by Reiszor. At this point, Jasmine's adventuring career basically ended and she turned her attention to running her bar in Klarr, the Displacer, and raising her two children.
After many years, a man named Chamois arrived in town. He spoke with Jasmine and then left, soon afterward kidnapping Samantha Talgris, daughter of Kalavor and Jessica. Knowing his secret, that Chamois was a future-version of her own son, Mikhail, Jasmine journeyed across the Bright Desert to help Sam's parents rescue their daughter. In the process, Jas was marooned on the world of Torsh for over a year, establishing an intimate relationship with Zarabell Finelock. After her return, Jasmine began to adventure occasionally again, even joining her daughter Adama (now close friends with Samandra). It was during this time that Jasmine met and fell madly in love with Stephanos, a cleric of Apollo. After he returned from more than a year in service to Apollo (Jas thought he was dead!), the two were married and had a daughter, Kaitlyn. They now live in Avalon, visiting Klarr only a few times a year.
Jasmine is open-minded in the extreme, accepting beings of all kinds. She is annoyed by discrimination and enjoys confounding the rigid-minded. Since her own enchantments are non-conventional, including minor healing and strange sexual spells, Jas has always been able to masquerade as a witch and early in her career she adopted the appellation "the White Witch". For nearly 15 years, Jas dwelt in Klarr with a true witch of Bahamut, Rhanée StrongArm, only adding to the confusion. On more than one occasion a witch-hunter came into town to "smite the wicked" only to find his talismans (of intolerance) useless against Jasmine's spells, a lesson reinforced through weeks of menial labor.
Without a son to carry on his legacy as a master swordsman, Jacob Grey taught his only child, Jessica, how to use a sword--and use it well! She strove to please her father, knowing that he loved her completely, but his hope had been that her twin brother hadn't died at birth (she has since learned that her brother is alive; switched at birth w/ the stillborn child of a wealthy family in the adjoining town). After Jessica's mother died when she was 11, she became even more focused on her weapon's training; only taking time out to do the chores needed around the house. She was able to pick up subtleties of the weapon that even her father hadn't found or taught her.
Jessica's time was spent practicing...her closest friend was another young girl, Margo Prattnick, who was also learning to use the long sword. They became immediate and long-time friends. When Jessica's father died, Jessica followed Margo's lead and became an adventurer. She met up with Margo and her adventuring companions (Kalavor, Zarabell and Dancing Horse) and together the group had many incredible experiences. Jessica continues to adventure with this group to this day, although Dancing Horse has left to be replaced by Cresslin, Wooden Thighs and Brianna Talgris.
During their time together, Kalavor and Jessica became friends, lovers and finally husband and wife. She and Kalavor have been through a lot together; his death and subsequent raising from the dead, many quests after that, and the kidnapping of their young daughter, Samandra. Jessica loves her family and she loves to adventure. She is a strong woman who handles the stress of family and career quite effectively.
Jyoli Surella first appeared in Greyhawk a few years ago, and helped a few members of the (Second) Portown Party rid Greyhawk of an obsessed, evil, Crat-slaying elven mage named Lanolin. Jyoli has adventured with the Portowners as well as several other parties based in Greyhawk. She is currently known as one of the organizers of the Oerth Fighter matches. She rarely adventures with the same party twice, and tends to avoid the company of other theives. She is very well known in the city of Greyhawk, and is rumored to be well-connected in the underground as well.
Jyoli Surella appears as an average 4'11" female elf, but rather on the cute side. She has shoulder length brown hair and violet eyes. She wears greens and dark browns, a shirt, a small corset and leggings with a few peices of dark brown soft leather armor. A single silver bracer adorns her right wrist, and she wears a large, ornate amulet around her neck; a nova star with asymetrical rays. She occaisonally wears a black leather hat, as well. A small dagger sits at her waist. Jyoli is cheerful and friendly, but exceedingly observant as well as being incredibly mischeivous.
Jyoli has recently become Erevan Ilserie's Archbishop in Greyhawk. She is currently working on establish this faith within the City of Thieves. Jyoli is well known for her tales of the elven gods, especially Why Orcs Dont Live in the Forest, a story commonly told to anal priests and paladins.
