Also known as psycho body and emotional body it has hundreds of names and is one of the vehicles of manifestation of the ego or consciousness not only in the near astral dimensions but in the very far ones as well.

It weights something around seventy grams and has humanoid aspect, luminous, extremely flexible, transformed by the power of the practitioner's will or unconsciously by the emotions, lightly blue color, shows the consistence of an inflated gas balloon. It is indestructible and does not transfer pain sensations.
When externalized, during an Out of the Body Experiment, it can carry within itself a smaller of bigger portion of the Energetic Body in which case it is considered an astral body with ballast having its weight increased.
It is linked to the physical body by the Silver Cord. This cord only breaks after physical death of the practitioner and up to now we do not know about any case of silver cord breaking caused by an extra physical creature or accident occurred during an OBE. It is first necessary to kill the body in order to break the silver cord.
