Hurry and get em' before they're sucked into the black hole of forgotten whatsits!

This page details anything you've sent me that isn't big enough for a page of its own. One more time, you can send anything and everything pertaining to electronics, computers, or programming that you feel you need to let the world know about. I'll even put a .gif of your cat using your computer if you send it. So send in those ideas to tiko2@hotmail.com, and by the way, how did you get a photo of your cat using a computer? Mine won't go near ours!

The MIDI files have departed this page and are living at The MIDI Page.

This is it! The moment you've all been waiting for! Here are the new computer programs in C++:

K.O.'s Video Poker v3.5B This is a pretty good video poker program, if you don't mind DOS. See if you can't find my hidden test routine, where I made sure every possible type of hand was recognized by the program... E-mail me when you have, and I'll include your name on this list (be sure to tell me how!).
Triangle Screen Saver This one is one of my first screen savers. It displays a triangle moving and changing shape as it bounces around the screen. If you think in three dimensions, it appears to tumble rather than morph.
Spheres Screen Saver This one is reminiscent of one of the After Dark screen savers, though it isn't 3-d. Imagine, if you will, a paintball contest where the competitors can't seem to hit anything but the black wall in front of them... It's a lot of different colored, Different sized, randomly placed circles. It's fast, but not all that interesting to sit and stare at...
Clock Screen Saver This is, I think, the best one I've come up with. If I ever manage to convert my programs to actual screen savers, this one would be it. It shows the time, bouncing around the screen, updating as accurately as your computer's clock. Try it... I think you'll like it.
Vegas Slot Machine This is my first graphics game. It's a slot machine, as you probably knew already, with an animated handle, tumblers that slow down, and other visual effects...

COMING SOON!

As part of the class I'm taking in C++, every person in the class has to program a game to go on the school's website. Mine will be "K.O.'s Intelligent Chess v1.5 Beta", available here as well. I'll be working on it over Christmas. It's already undergoing final testing of the AI, which I think will play a very good game when the bugs are all taken out and the "personality", governed by a series of coefficients that determine how it will react when faced with a decision to capture or back down, has been tweaked and fine-tuned. Look for it sometime in January, perhaps sooner, and also look for my classmates' games, including "Connect Four", "Frogger", and a brand-new RPG, never seen before, with the tentative title of "Maze Hunt", produced by my friend Ken Judy.
