Since you are on this page, I am assuming you are interested in knowing about moi - so here goes.
I was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1977 - about 21 years ago. At two years of age, my parents decided to take me to Nigeria (my father's land is what I call it) and keep me there for as long as they possibly can. I was raised in Ibadan, Oyo State and I had a blast growing up there. Being the fourth of five kids, I definitely was not spoiled but my parents made sure we all had the best. I attended Omolewa Nursery and Primary School. "Shout out to Aunti Ronke - She is the Proprietress of the School". At Omolewa, we were all treated like the best and our teachers were the best. Aunti Ronke was the one that taught me that as a lady (even though I was only 8 years old), I should always carry tissue with me so that I won't have to dig my fingers in my nose anytime it itches. I still remember that till today.
Well, so much for that trip down memory lane....
Anyway, I then went to Saint Louis Grammar School Mokola Ibadan (Luwe) for my JSS 1 to JSS 3 classes. The St. Louis years were pretty interesting. I have a couple of stories about Luwe life that are forever engraved in my memory. I left for the States right after my JSS exams (Now that I look at it, what exactly was the point of studying so hard for the exams. Till today, I don't know exactly what my results were). Anyway, I got to the States - Brooklyn, New York to be exact and finished up my high school education at George Wingate High School. I decided to go upstate New York for my bachelors degree in Computer Science at State University of New York at Brockport. I had a blast at that school. I further went on to get my Masters' Degree in Computer Science at State University of New York StonyBrook. StonyBrook was the best thing that ever happened to me because this was when I became a Christian instead of just another religious person. I attend the Long Island Church of ChristWell, I am now a programmer at Reuters America Inc. in New York. God has been extraordinarily good to me and I am definitely blessed in every way by him.
