If
you don't recoginize the term "unordered lists"
is that they are often refered to as bullet lists. All this
means is that you have a lists of items, and that each item has
a "bullet" next to it. The bullet can be many things,
mostly a small black circle is used though.
The tags to make a list are and .
Each item is marked with a tag to let it know
that it is a bulleted item.
To the right is an example of a a unordered list.

Ordered
lists are just like unordered lists with the exception of using
and instead of using
and .
When the ordered list is displayed in a web browser, the items
are numbered.

Definition
Lists |
As
you might expect, definition lists begin and end with the tags
and . However, unlike the unordered and ordered
lists, definition lists are not based on list items. They
are instead based on term-definition pairs.
