| It
all started at around June of 1990 when Cesar set his
eyes on a charming and smart Lou in a Student Catholic Action Group in which both of them were very active members. Cesar was taking B.S. Computer Science from University of Negros Occidental - Recoletos which is run by OAR religious order while Lou has just shifted from Computer Science to B.S. Psychology from the same University. The whole love story did not start with the usual “Love at first sight” thing but the relationship was founded in a more gradual and daily appreciation of each others character. In fact, both of them were not even in good terms at first. Their belief and ideals in life as well as their backgrounds are exactly opposite. But later they have discovered that these differences made their love grow stronger. But for sure they have a thing in common; their determination and perseverance and most especially their strong religious belief and faith in God have nurtured their love and commitment to each other. Brunei Days After graduation of 1993, Cesar had worked for SSS Bacolod as a data encoder for 6 months before seeking a greener pasture abroad. He moved to Brunei at around August of 1994. Cesar got a job in a Project Management Consulting firm, SPCastro and Associates. Although his involvement was trivial in the organization but this is where he have learned the value of time and the importance of documentation which later have been proven useful in his professional life. The company is small but offers him exciting opportunities to learn new things and do the impossible. The organization not only honed Cesar skills on organization and time management but also give him a nickname "Rocky" which he is using it until now. Lou's Professional Career After Lou’s graduation in April of 94 she immediately joined SM Bacolod. The operations of SM Bacolod did not go smoothly as expected and soon Lou find herself applying for Medical Representative position in Manila. She went through a month of training but only later realized that the job is not exactly what she had expected. She cut her training short and joined DHL Corporate office in Paranaque, Metro Manila. Lou not getting used from the hassles and bustles of a rush metropolitan life left the job after three months. |
