BallBearing
BallBearing.jpg - 1024 x 768 - 96 KB
I made this ball bearing whit POV-Ray just for fun. After sketching it on paper I modeled it entirely with a text editor. Then rendered using Raytracing. Funny, some days after finishing it, I found in web a page with a
POV-Ray gallery and a guy done a very similar image.
You can download the source code
BallBearingrad.jpg - 1024 x 768 - 96 KB
This is the same image but rendered using Radiosity also.
Bathroom
Bathroomrad.jpg - 1024 x 768 - 252 KB
This bathroom is another POV-Ray work. Apart the toothpaste tube and the towel, wich were modeled using D-form, the entire scene is CSG - Constructive Solid Geometry.
As all my POV-Ray scenes, I didn't used any graphical modeler, only text editors.
Earl
Earl.jpg - 1024 x 768 - 48 KB
This is an attempt to model a comics character using Amapi3D. The model is the piranha of the
famous strip "Ernie".
The rendering is done using Amapi3D.
EarlBowl
EarlBowl.jpg - 1024 x 768 - 100 KB
This is the piranha model placed in a nice goldfish sized fishbowl. Earl seems a bit diasppointed, isn't it?
The piranha, the glass bowl, the table and the gold carved name plate are modeled in Amapi3D. All the rest, and the rendering is done in LightWave3D.

This movie is a short animation I did with LightWave3D. It's a military flying vehicle created
from scratch. It's flying in a canyon. I worked on this project between the beginning of january 2000
and middle february. It's not finished yet (as all my works!). I'm planning to add an enemy ship to
chase for.
RadRoom
RadRoom.mov - 320 x 240 x 30 fps - QuickTime Sorenson - 568 KB
This movie is a short animation I did with LightWave [6]. It's just a quick and dirt experiment with lighting. I think [6] has a damn good realistic rendering engine, don't you think?
