The butler slowly goes step by step up to the first floor and you follow, forcing yourself to move at his pace. He leads you down a series of ill-lit passageways before arriving at a spiral staircase. You begin the long climb up and after a total of 103 steps you reach a heavy oak-panelled door. The bultler unlocks it and you enter a circular, domed room. Strangely enough Faust, the lynx in the bobble hat, is already here.
The door you came through is situated in a central column that rises to the roof of the dome, which is made almost entirely out of thick, clear glass. If the weather outside was not so inclement the lighting in here would be excellent.
The butler moves to a small table on which lies a folder. He picks it up and hands it to you. "The Master's sketchbook," he announces. You open the folder filled with doodles. Attached to each is a little yellow sticky post-it note describing the picture and its origins.
In the corner you also notice a few cardboard boxes filled with comics. On top of these is a few sheets of paper, apparently filled with quotes from the comics.
