Hi, I am from Cochabamba, Bolivia and have been playing Andean folk music for many years (I play charango and I sing, in Quechua and in Spanish). I am also a collector of Andean CDs, and I would like some help in finding one. The CD is Runa Pacha Tushuri by the group Quichua Marka from Otavalo, Ecuador. It was put out about ten years ago in Holland, where the group was based. It contains some very good examples of Ecuadorian Andean music (similar yet distinct from Peruvian or Bolivian), as well as good interpretations of Bolivian music. If anyone has any information on how I might find this CD please email me. I will also correspond with anyone on Andean music in general.
