The Legoland Communications and Information Corporation (LCIC) is the new powerhouse in communications technology. For the past year the corporation had been planning their new headquarters for downtown Metrolegoland. After a few failed designs, the final design was selected and the structure was erected soon after the permits were issued.
The LCIC Tower is situated at 550 Legoland Boulevard and faces the Thorntree Building and Legoland Centre Parking Deck. While the structure is complete, floors, ceilings, and fixtures need to be installed, and the commerical courtyard must be built. Even so, the building already towers over the city, and is now the tallest ediface in Metrolegoland, totaling eight stories.
Completion is expected by the summer.
LCIC plans to build a sister building in the future when expansion is needed.
