Between Maungawhai and Waipu Cove, the pink sand is limited to this one small beach.

The Thames - Coromandel road follows the rocky coastline.  This view looks toward the peninsula.

 

North of  Thames

Quartz is easy to find on the  beaches in this area.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Glow-worm Stream

Named by yours truly.  Found the glow-worms by accident, while camping overnight in the area.  The glow-worms are in the rocky banks of the stream.

 

Coromandel Peninsula

Waterfall on the 309 Rd.
