Many individuals can attest to having had a personal encounter with an Angel. This page is dedicated to those encounters. Some say that those who have met angels are out of their minds. It has however been proven that the existence of angels can not be proved or disproved. Since I personally have had such an encounter, and have no desire to be considered out of mind, we will assume that they do exist. The way in which they touch our lives is unparalleled to most all other experiences with the exception of meeting God Himself. These experiences can remain unspoken, but can never be forgotten.
My encounter was as a child. My grandfather, with whom I was very close, died suddenly of a heart attack. I was very young and not permitted to attend the funeral, all I was told was that he had gone to sleep and was going to heaven now. The night of his funeral I was lying in my bed and I was very sad because I finally realized that I would never see him again. I was crying, so I was certain that I was awake. Suddenly there was a light in the corner of my room that became brighter and though I couldn't make out any concrete shape or form, I knew just the same that there was a wonderful presence there. My tears stopped and I felt a warmth and peace I had never known. A voice spoke to me and said, "Don't cry sweet child, All must travel this road someday. You will never be alone! We will always be with you." I was suddenly filled with a calm and slept better that night than I can ever remember sleeping before.
Some would say my experience was merely a dream. I believe differently. I believe that I was visited by Angels, appointed by Almighty God Himself to protect, encourage, guide, and when it is our time, to lead us home to Him.
This page was designed with the sole purpose of sharing these experiences, not as a forum to debate the existence of Angels. It's intended purpose is to encourage and to provide others, like myself who have had encounters a way in which to share their stories without fear of ridicule.
