The Dragon

The dragon is an eagle soaring high,
Yet it swims fast like no fish can.
People may see him as a fierce and wicked creature,
But really it is a kind symbol of good luck.

The Chinese would live inside
if not so small.
The real Forbidden City had life.

Royalty in the real,
Carbon-dioxide in the fake

Responsibility in the true,
False left with peace.

I Am

I used to be a tiny sprout.
Now I am a short pine tree.

People see me as a plant outgrowing the sprout stage.
But I'm really a short little plant.

I currently am a growing pine tree.
But I will be a sequoia piercing the sky.
