A brand new novel by Horane Smith:
Dawn At Lover's Leap

About Lover's Leap

Spanish Explorer Christopher Columbus  was so struck by Jamaica's beauty that he had to make the above statement. He  landed on the island's north coast on May 4, 1494. Had he landed on the south  coast and came across that famous tourist attraction, Lover's Leap in the parish  of St. Elizabeth, how would he have described Jamaica? We will never  know.

The fairest isle eyes have ever beheld."

-Christopher Columbus

Have you ever visited Lover's Leap? If  not, probably you should. Thousands of people from across the globe have set  eyes on one of the most picturesque scenes on earth. The view is awesome,  breathtakingly beautiful, and only eyes can describe it best. Seeing is  believing. It is a 1700ft. cliff overlooking the turquoise waters of the  Caribbean Sea. Nearly half of Jamaica's south coast is visible from the cliff,  not to mention the sky meeting the sea in one oval blue, never seen anywhere on  earth.

Legend has it that two young slaves, after  their secret love affair had been exposed, jumped to their deaths from this cliff, rather than being  separated. Hence the name Lover's  Leap.
