Believe it or not, a few years ago, being a naturist is Russia would have got you in deep trouble with the authorities and a one way ticket to Outer Siberia! Since the dawn of the age of 'Glasnost' naturism has really taken off in Russia, not to mention many of the other Eastern European counties, with the age of freedom of expression comes the freedom from clothing! The Independent Center for Social Initiatives is an absolutely brilliant site, well worth a visit if you're feeling somewhat jaded with the 'politics' of naturism!

Sadly, it would appear that "Lara's Nudist Pages" is no longer on the web, which is a great shame as this page was really something, Lara is a 24 year old woman who lives her life as a nudist and firmly believes that women should enjoy the same status as men when it comes to going topless. (In many states of the U.S. it is illegal!). If anyone knows what happened to her page, or what she's doing these days E-Mail me!
