SICC European tour April 11 - April 18

In England the driving on the left started. We had to drive to London. Fortunately Robin is an excellent map reader so all went very smooth. We arrived at our hotel around 1 pm English time. After checking in and a little relaxing we went to see

Piccadilly



Carnaby street

and a little walk around China town.

The next day we had an early start and we did some serious walking again. We went to see the changing of the guards,

the horse guards

the war cabinet, Big Ben

and all the other sites. In the evening we came back to our hotel. We were tired but satisfied.

Saturday started with a nice English breakfast. Then we headed for Katie, our English SICC friend. Unfortunately traffic was awful so we arrived much later than we wished. We had a nice stay at the Bowher family.

They prepared a great English lunch for us and we got to meet Katie's Siamese Cats Mai ling and Luci.

Much too soon we had to leave. After dropping Robin off at Heatrow airport I went back to Holland. When I saw the white cliffs of Dover

I knew it was over. It was great having Robin over. All went by much too soon.
Well I guess now it's back to reality.
