Costuming and other Vices

I confess, I have a costuming addiction. There are worse vices you know. :) I intend to fill this page with numerous costume references, and may even show you some of the costumes I've done.

Period Costuming
Right now, I am working on costumes from the 16th- 18th century (ok that IS a large range, but I do have a collection of fabric that I have been ..er...um..aging, too.)

  • Instructions and patterns for costumes:
    1600's Doublet
1860's corset One day, i'll finish the info..

FurSuits
I am also delving into Furry Mascot costumes, & have posted several "in progress" photos as well as photos of completed creations & instructions for how I achieved my results.
If you'd like to see my fursuit instructions so far, click here

Theatrical Makeup & Prosthetics
I have added another "focus" as well, and am currently working on images and text regarding my approach to theatrical/fantasy stage makeup.

Photo Album
Here's a link to the photo's I have found of me & some of my close friends in various costumes. Links to Mascot Photo's too. (new Photos added April 2001)

PS. If you really know who I am, and happen to have any costuming photos of me or our mutual friends, drop me a line, or leave a comment in the guestbook on the main page.

I co-ran the masquerade for Lepracon 2001 with Jeff Larson. We had 5 contestants, not bad for a convention of 200!

    Norwescon Homepage
Was the track programming Head for Norwescon this year & ran the SCA Faire on Sunday. Didn't compete in the masquerade this year, but did complete 8 outfits for our bustier fashion show on Friday nite. Pictures when I get some.

  • Archon 25 in St. Louis,Missouri October 2001
    Archon 25
What an AWESOME convention & Masquerade! The Masquerade has an incredible crew. and I think everyone should go (IMHO).

  • Orycon - Portland, OR - November 2001
Will likely be attending & competing in the masquerade.
