Hot Rolls
2 c. hot water
1/2 c. Crisco oil
2 pkgs. yeast-Rapid rise (Fleisman's Dry)
6 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
In a large mixing bowl, combine sugar, salt and oil. Pour yeast in and stir. Add 3 c. flour, mix well.
Add 3 remaining cups of flour.
Knead, cover and ler stand 1 1/2 hours.
Push down and squeeze into balls.
Place 3 balls in each tin. Grease pan if not teflon.
Cover with a towel to raise 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Bake @ 425 degrees 15-20 mins or until golden brown.
Monkey Bread
3 cans Refridgerator Biscuits
1 c. sugar
Cinnamon to taste
1 stick butter
Mix together sugar and cinnamon
Quarter biscuits and roll in sugar mixture
Place in a bunt pan
Melt butter and stir in remaining sugar mixture.
Pour mixture over biscuits
Cook @ 350 for 10-15 minutes
Zucchini Bread
3 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
2 c. grated zucchini
2 tsp. vanilla
2 Tbsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. applesauce
3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. nuts (pecans)
1 c. raisins
Cream sugar and eggs. Add other ingredients in order given. Grease and flour 2 loaf pans.
Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
Breakfast Quiche
3 eggs
1 can evaporated skim milk
Mix in bowl and pour on top of Layers
1st Layer
Pillsbury Ready Crust (Frozen)
2nd Layer
2/3 jar Hormel real bacon pieces
3rd Layer
8 Oz. chedder cheese (shreded)
4th layer
10 oz. Broccoli - chopped ( partially cooked)
Cook @ 375 for 45-60 minutes
