Steve's Album

Steve's First Steps, this was in late '77,   before his first birthday.  His mother had come to pick me up from work, while they waited for me, they visited with some of the people there, and Steve picked that time to show off, and take his first steps with an audience.  Steve was born Feb. 17, 1977, at the Oakland Naval Hospital, in Oakland, California.  His mother had gone to the Clinic for a checkup, and when I arrived to take her home, she informed me that we 'have to go to Oakland.'  I am world-renown for being completely oblivious, so, my first question was 'Why?'  After all, the kid wasn't due for another 3 or 4 days, and what the heck are schedules good for if ya don't follow em?  After being clued in that the reason for the trip (about 45 miles) was due to the imminent arrival of the child, my next question was 'Do I have time to take a shower and change?'  Well  . yah, I did, and we proceeded to the hospital in a timely manner, and about 8 hours later, Steve was born.
