The Wish Originally written for the WISH bandsite and fans, the following was something I've tried to adhere to in my life. Hopefully it is helpful to you. The "wish" is essential to staying young, to reaching goals, to living. It is the uncertainty of a wish coming true which in itself makes it so invigorating when it is realized. Without the "wish", we stop dreaming, we stop hoping, we stop believing that tomorrow will somehow be worthwhile living rather than just going through the motions. The striving for a wish once made will lead us down a path of fulfillment for our hearts and souls and is at the very basis of romantic "love". The "wish" is childhood and innocence paired with naivete and vulnerability. And to be vulnerable is to let one's barriers down and to see things as they truly are, to know what you have and use it to its greatest potential. To Wish and align yourself toward that end may not lead to that particular wish coming true, but it will guarantee other treasures gained along the way. Within the depths of our souls is our well of wishes. We must never run out. We must constantly visit that well in each of us else we begin to grow old inside sooner than the outside and will feel death long before it comes.
