FABOLOUS VIDEO PREMIERES
The new Little X-directed Fabolous
feat. Nate Dogg video Can't Deny It premiered on
MTV's DFX on
August 9. It has been added to MTV's playlist as a Buzz
Clip. The video has similar editing styles as Little X's other
videos for Prodigy (Y.B.E.) and Destiny's Child (Bootylicious
(Rockwilder Remix)).

R. KELLY VIDEO COMPILATION RELEASED
BMG/Jive has released a new R.
Kelly video compilation entitled TP-2.com: The Videos (videos
from his TP-2.com album). Included in this compilation is the
Little X-directed Fiesta (remix). The VHS video came
out in the last few weeks; the DVD edition comes out next week.

JADAKISS VIDEO PREMIERES ON BET
Jadakiss appeared on BET's
106 & Park yesterday afternoon to premiere his new video Knock
Yourself Out. The video was shot in Malibu earlier this
month. Look out for a cameo from director Little X in the
video. He's the guy with the red cap dancing towards the end of
the video.

2001 MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS NOMINATIONS ANNOUNCED
Yesterday, MTV
announced the nominees for its annual MTV Video Music Awards.
Of the 12 Little X-directed videos that were eligible for awards this
year, only 1 came away with nominations:

Notable absentees from the nominees list
this year include R. Kelly's Fiesta (remix) & Mystikal's Shake
Ya Ass & Danger videos, all of which got alot of airplay
on the music channel. The awards will be handed out on September
7.
(July 21, 2001) KARDINAL OFFISHALL VIDEO SHOOT IN TORONTO
Little X was in Toronto last
weekend to shoot a new video for Canadian rapper Kardinal Offishall
entitled Ol' Time Illin'. MuchMusic
VJ Namugenyi had a chance to visit Kardinall and Little X on set, and a
behind-the-scenes special On The Set With Kardinal Offishall
will air at the end of July.

The new Destiny's Child
video for Bootylicious (Rockwilder Remix) premiered
yesterday on MTV's
Total Request Live. It has already gotten airplay on BET
in the past few days. As reported earlier, the video was shot by
Little X in early June.

Last week, MTV.com
opened a new section
on its site dedicated to the upcoming 2001 MTV Video Music Awards.
The new section contains an area where you can vote for the nominees in
the Viewers Choice & MTV2 categories, as well as a complete list
of all eligible videos. To be eligible, the videos must be played
on MTV at least once between June 8, 2001 and June 7, 2001. Of the
400 or so videos played on MTV this past year, 12 were directed by
Little X. Of these videos, expect nominations for Girls Dem
Suga (Beenie Man feat. Mya), Let's Get It (G-Dep), Shake
Ya Ass (Mystikal), & Fiesta (remix) (R. Kelly feat. Jay
Z); these videos received alot of airplay on MTV this past year. Fiesta
(remix) (R. Kelly feat. Jay Z) is one of 20 videos in
contention for being nominated for the Viewers Choice award. The nominations should be announced sometime in mid to late July, and
the awards are scheduled to be handed out September 6, 2001.

Productions website recently updated its Little X section with a
whole new batch of full length downloadable Quicktime videos including Peaches
& Cream (112), There It Is (Ginuwine), Y.B.E.
(Prodigy), Ladies Man (Changing Faces), There It Is (G-Dep),
Fiesta remix (R. Kelly), It's A Fact (Sparkle). It
also has a Quicktime version of Little X's "2000: Year In
Review" directors reel, which is a montage of his best videos from
2000 set to the theme to the movie Gladiator. This video is a
MUST-SEE for any Little X fan!

and Atheletes World stores) is featuring images of video stills from
Little X-directed videos in their magazines. The current issue
(No.55 with Cappadonna on the cover) features stills from 112's Peaches
& Cream video.

MYSTIKAL VIDEO WINS ONLINE HIPHOP AWARD
The 5th Annual Online Hip-Hop Awards were cancelled this year due
to concerns over security issues stemming from the violence that erupted
at last year's event. However this past week the winners were
announced and Mystikal's Shake Ya Ass (directed by Little
X) won for Favorite Music Video.

Entertainment has plans on releasing a Mystikal DVD. Mystikal:
Mardi-Raw: Up Close and Uncensored will include footage of Mystikal
performances, in his hometown of Baton Rouge and New Orleans, LA during
Mardi Gras, and behind-the-scenes footage from the Little X-directed
videos Shake Ya Ass and Danger (Been So Long).
The disc also includes most of his music videos, including Shake
Ya Ass and Danger (Been So Long). The DVD is
scheduled to be released May 15.

This was announced on Wednesday's edition of Da Mix on MuchMusic
(Canada):

As reported earlier, Harpoon Missile shot a video with Little X in

FOXY BROWN VIDEO PREMIERES ON BET
The new Little X-directed Foxy Brown video BK Anthem
premiered yesterday on BET's
106 & Park. The video resembles a camcorder video recording
(complete with static, record symbol in the corner, frame guides) and uses some
extreme fish-eye lens shots, following Foxy around the streets of
Brooklyn.
