PAUL HUNTER TO DIRECT UPCOMING
TIMBALAND VIDEO
According to 360hiphop.com,
Paul Hunter is scheduled to direct the new Timbaland video Drama
from his upcoming album Indecent Proposal (to be released early
2001). The video is scheduled to be shot in L.A. next month, and
will also feature Magoo and Timbaland's brother Sebastian; the video
should be released in November.

NEW SEARS COMMERCIAL DIRECTED BY PAUL HUNTER?
I just saw a new Sears commercial that uses Christina
Aguilera's new song Come On Over as the theme. I
am almost 100% sure that Paul Hunter directed this commercial, because
it basically uses the sets and everything from the Paul Hunter-directed
video for the same Christina Aguilera song, same look, same everything.
(By the way, Sears is co-sponsoring Christina's new tour) So I'm
going to credit it to Paul Hunter unless someone tells me otherwise.

PAUL HUNTER TO APPEAR AT BILLBOARD/BET R&B HIPHOP CONFERENCE
According Billboard,
Paul Hunter is scheduled to appear at the 1st Annual Billboard/BET
R&B HipHop Conference, held at the New York City Hilton, August
16-18. On August 17 (from 11:30am - 12:45pm), Paul will
participate on a panel discussion entitled "Generation
Impressionable: How are decisions made regarding the visual aspects of
videos and what they should or shouldn't show?" Other
panelists will include fellow video directors Rashidi Harper, Tracy
Danielle Robinson, and Bille Woodruff.

NEW EMINEM & CHRISTINA AGUILERA VIDEOS TO PREMIERE ON MTV THIS
MONDAY
Two new Paul Hunter-directed videos will premiere on MTV
this coming Monday (July 31). Eminem's The Way I Am,
which is rumored to feature an appearance by Marilyn Manson, premieres
on the afternoon show Total Request Live. Later that night,
Christina Aguilera's new video for Come On Over (All I Want
Is You) is profiled on Making The Video at 10:30pm, with
the video premiering at the end of the episode.

MEMORABILIA FROM PAUL HUNTER VIDEOS AUCTIONED OFF AT MTV.COM
MTV.com is auctioning
off memorabilia from several Paul Hunter-directed videos next week.
As part of Cool Crap, MTV is auctioning off memorabilia from its
MTV shows as well as stuff from the music videos, sports, and other
"cool crap". Among the items up on the auction block
are: an outfit worn by Christina Aguilera in the Come Over
Here video and an outfit worn by Lenny Kravitz in American

"UNTITLED (HOW DOES IT FEEL)" NOMINATED FOR 2000 MTV VIDEO
MUSIC AWARDS
The 2000 MTV Video Music Awards nominations were finally
announced yesterday morning, and the Paul Hunter-directed video for Untitled
(How Does It Feel) by D'Angelo was nominated for four
awards: Video Of The Year, Best Direction In A Video,
Best Male Video, & Best R&B Video. The
awards will be handed out on September 7 in New York City, with Shawn
& Marlon Wayans hosting this year.

D'ANGELO VIDEO NOMINATED FOR VH1 FASHION AWARD
The nominations for the 2000 VH1/Vogue Fashion Awards were
announced earlier this week and the Paul Hunter-directed video for D'Angelo's
Untitled was nominated for Most Stylish Video. Click

MARILYN MANSON TO APPEAR IN UPCOMING EMINEM VIDEO
As reported earlier, Paul Hunter directed a new Eminem video for The
Way I Am, which is scheduled to be released sometime this week
or next week. According to Canadian station MuchMusic,
Marilyn Manson makes an appearance in the video. Still no
word on exactly when the video will premiere.

2000 MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS
NOMINATION PREDICTIONS
In previous years, the nominations for MTV's
annual Video Music Awards have been announced in the last 2 weeks
of July, which means the nominations for this year's awards should be
announced in the next few weeks. Paul Hunter directed roughly 14
videos which should be eligible for this year's awards. Expect
nominations for his videos: American Woman (Lenny Kravitz),
Unpretty (TLC), Untitled (D'Angelo), and Get
Along With You (Kelis).

PAUL HUNTER DIRECTS NEW CHRISTINA AGUILERA VIDEO
According to Christina Aguilera's Official
Website, Paul Hunter has just directed her new video, Come On
Over (All I Want Is You). According to the website, the
video features "over a dozen dancers, wild sets, & great
choreography". The video is scheduled to premiere later
this month on MTV's Making
The Video.
