Mankind is considered to be the Undertaker's arch Nemesis. Prehaps this is because the Undertaker is perceived as the personification of evil, and Mankind seems to be the exact opposite.
Underatker and Mankind have a lenthy history of hate. They competed together in the first-ever boiler room brawl, and the most famous match of all, the second-ever Hell in a Cell. Famous because Mankind lost two and a half of his teeth, was knocked unconscience when he was thrown through the top of the cage, and nearly broken in half when Taker threw him off the cage, onto the announce table.
And the deranged one kept on going.
This is why he is so successful against foes like the Undertaker and Kane; he absorbs pain. He feels it just like you and be, but he seems to enjoy it.
Before Taker left, Mankind and the Rock fought Undertaker and Big Show in the first ever buried alive tag team match. Their rivalry renewed, there's no telling what can happen next.
But as far as Mankind is concerened, we all know what has happened. Rock and Sock broke up, proving for it to be the best thing for Mankind's well-being. However, this wrong did make a right when it united Al Snow and Mankind as good friends and a successful tag team.
Al and Mick even won the tag titles! Proving what good friendship and teamwork can do, Mankind even broke the record again as the person who's won the WWF tag team championship more times than anyone else in Federation history.
Their regin wasn't long, however, as Al and Mankind quickly lost the titles to the Holly's. Al blamed himself, but Mankind knew better. His friend was just going through a hard time.
Mankind reconciled with the Rock shortly after and wished to form a group called Rock 'n' Sock 'n' Al, yet Al and Rock never got along. It was because of Al's jealousy that he revealed to Mankind that he threw Mick's book in the trash so Mankind would know not to trust the Rock.
Mankind has yet to forgive Al Snow.
Rock 'n' Sock is whole again—or at least it was until just recently—Mankind was just fired by Triple H and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley in a humiliating match with the Rock.
Yet the Rock soon righted the wrong, picking up where his partner left off and organizing a mutiney against the McMahon-Helmsley Era, getting Mick reinstated! However what followed, after all the humliation of being fired by his best friend, the horrendous movies, "Have A Bad Day" put on by DX, not to mention Mideon paradeing around in a Mankind costume, being pathetic and poking fun at Mick's family, Mankind was pushed over the edge by The Game and has once again snapped into his most vicious of personalities, Cactus Jack.
