Comments: This first salute to film music is pretty self explanatory. The Beach Boy number went dismally, with Vic hitting a beach ball to and fro and most people, to his chagrin, didn't recognize the Godfather theme. "Shaft" consisting mostly of Vic voguing in a leather jacket like Richard Roundtree, singing only three lines.
