FRI. Feb 13, 1998 @ Tempe Bowl
More Tough Love (I Can't Take)*
You're My Soul and Inspiration
Synopsis: On this Night of
1000 Pins, Windigo played a grudge match against the Beat Angels and Vic,
with a wireles mic, sang as he bowled against Lydia Ramos. Vic debuts the
Frankie Valli hit , listed incorrectly in the Playbill as Can't Take My Eyes Off. Vic changed the words to "You And What Army" for the
show's title song Come Extreme
Bowl With Me.
Original Playbill Comments: "This show is a quasi recreation of my tragic first date. I was set up with a friend of my sister, I think her name was Michelle. She trounced me 127 to 34 and I never saw her again. Call it silly mannish pride.
"Well, it's not going to happen to me again. Now, with the courage of the Cabaret Revoltaire behind me, nothing is beyond my capabilities. Bowling the perfect game, finding the perfect girl, it's all gonna be a snap. Yessirre Bob. I'm gonna pick a fair lass out of the audience and I'll try to rattle her with props and a song. And I'll win her heart. The music will play and the credits will roll. Or I'll get the shit kicked outta me again."
