Synopsis: The popular Vic Master favorite tune "Act Like You're My Baby" gets a slight patriotic facelift in this, a show of supremely bad taste. Vic reprises O.J singing "Mrs. Brown You've Got a Lovely Daughter" and recreates the Kennedy Assasination and Sonny Bono's skiing accident. Les Payne Product guest star as Secret Service men, picking out crushed tomatoes from JFK's skull as he sings "I Think I'm Going Out Of My Head." Veronica Heron played Jackie O the first show, with Lisa Haslbauer doing the honors on the prededing show. Bonnie Scott played Cher both nights.

VIC's Original Playbill Comments: "For tonight's patriotic pageant, I've split the song introduction duties equally between myself and my distinguished guest, Senator Everett McKinley Dirksen, who inexplicably had a hit record in 1967 with "Gallant Men," the excruciating gun-ho homage which will usher us into tonight's program! During the Vietnam escalation, right wing record buyers sent nearly every pro-military record sailing to the top of the charts like Ol' Glory on a flagpole. Payola, you say? Listen to the results and judge for yourself. As one of Dick Clark's gum chewing minion might have said, 'it's got a good martial beat but you can't draft dodge to it!' Admittedly many of the 'Great Moments in the American Adventure' we highlight tonight weren't so great but name me another country where a guy can record his band, then automate and put 'em out of work and then perform to scratchy old records? Nowhere, mon frier! Only this kooky country grants me this freedom to continually risk bodily harm and personal shame for your listening pleasure. Happy Independence Day, fellow countrymen & women. Many be YOUR joys!"
