JIM K, DENNIS JOIN REUNITED FLYBOYS
SEP 29: While the Crowd is on summer vacation, Jim Kaa and Dennis Walsh have joined up with the reunited Flyboys . Dennis was one of the original Flyboys back in the late 70s.
CROWD ARTIFACTS ON DISPLAY AT ORANGE COUNTY FAIR
JULY 15: Flyers, photos, album covers and other souvenirs from the Crowd's 25-year history will be on display this month as part of the "Orange Groove" exhibit at the Orange County Fair in Costa Mesa. Jim Kaa provided a lot of the Crowd material for this display, which covers five decades of Orange County's rock heritage. Better hurry if you want to check it out - the tents come down on August 3rd.
NEW HOSTAGE RECORDS COMP FEATURES LATEST CROWD SINGLE
JULY 8: The Crowd's latest single Good Dr. Jack can now be heard on TOWER 13, a 16 band compilation LP now available from Huntington Beach's own Hostage Records. That's right, dust off the turntable, since this one is only available on vinyl.

JUNE 23: Be sure and pick up Orange County Weekly's June 20-27 issue, which features their ranking of the best 129 Orange County bands of all time - including The Crowd at number six!
SUMMER VACATION
MAY 23: The Crowd will be playing two shows in June before taking a few months off from touring this summer. See the Shows page for details. In the meantime, Jim and Dennis will be playing with the reunited Flyboys (featuring 3 of the original 4 members) - a show at the Doll Hut is coming up and a few more are planned for the fall.
NEW SHOW DATES
MAR 11: The Crowd's busy spring calendar now includes two April shows (in Long Beach and HB)- see the Shows page for details. Two more concerts are planned for May, at the Doll Hut in Anaheim and the Liquid Den. There are also tentative plans for another Bay Area vist in June or July.
THE LATEST
FEB 21:
The latest Crowd single, Good Doctor Jack, will appear on an upcoming Rick Bain - Hostage Records compilation (titled Tower 13 ) along with the usual slate of material from other Hostage bands.
Three other new shows are in the works this spring, including a possible appearance at the (renovated) Doll Hut.
There is talk of a new album in the works and a German tour perhaps in March 2004. Stay tuned.
