"Why didn't you tell me that Hanson was at this party!??!" she exclaimed once she got to Lindsay.
Lindsay laughed.
"Well, I thought you had figured it out once you had talked to Zac!"
"I couldn't tell if it was him though! So I didn't know!" Leigh laughed.
Lindsay began laughing at her friend. As she convulsed with laughter, she didn't notice August join them. She grabbed Lindsay's shoulders and shook her. This made Lindsay laugh harder. She calmed down enough to realize who was shaking her.
"Aug!" she exclaimed, hugging her.
"So you two are good?" she asked.
August nodded and looked to the other girl.
"Hi, I'm August." she introduced herself.
"August. Hmm. Do you have online?"
August nodded. She looked at Lindsay, who looked confused.
"Yea....why?"
"Well, talked to you."
"Online? Whats your name?"
"I'm Leigh."
"Oh!! Hi! I didn't know you knew Lindsay!" exclaimed August.
"Yea, I didn't know you knew her either." laughed Leigh.
"Well, you know, I just know everybody!" joked Lindsay.
The three girls laughed. Everything was good, everybody was happy. Chris, Taylor and Isaac walked over.
"Hello lovely ladies." smiled Isaac.
August rolled her eyes.
"Ike, put the charm on hold, we're trying to have a conversation."
Everyone except Isaac laughed. He gave August a hurt look. He turned to Taylor.
"Tay, I'm afraid I'm going to have to hurt your girlfriend!"
"Why?"
"She insulted me."
"Oh.......well, then I guess she deserves it."
August looked quizzingly at Taylor. He looked at her and grinned.
"Come on Tay, you wouldn't let him hurt me, now would ya?" August asked with fake sweetness.
Taylor laughed.
"Ike."
And with that, he attacked August. He chased her until he got he cornered and began tickling her. Taylor watched, amused.
"Tay! *giggle* Help me!" August screamed between giggles.
August got away from Isaac and tried to run, but he caught her again. Taylor rushed over and started helping Isaac tickle her. She was laughing so hard she was crying. Taylor grabbed her waist and pulled her close. She started to calm down. With his arms on her waist, August and Taylor walked back to the group. Taylor rested his chin on her shoulder. Every once in awhile he would softly tickle her waist. Isaac spoke up.
"How about we play a game?"
Everyone agreed.
"What game?" asked Lindsay.
Isaac looked at Chris and Taylor devilishly.
"Hows about ‘7 Minutes in Heaven'?"
Again, everyone agreed.
"Wait!" exclaimed Lindsay. "We all know who's going to win though!"
All eyes went to Taylor and August. They both turned bright red. Isaac laughed.
"Yea, well, lets just play anyways."
Chris found a piece of paper and everyone ripped off a piece and wrote their names. The girls there were: August, Lindsay, Leigh, Amy, and Ellie. The guys were: Isaac, Taylor, Zac, Chris and Chris's friend Josh. August recognized Josh from awhile ago when they had met at the mall. They put their names into a hat and Amy shook it. She pulled out two names and grinned.
"Lindsay and.............Chris!" she muffled a snicker.
Lindsay and Chris both turned bright red. August, Ellie, Amy and Leigh all smirked. Lindsay still liked Chris. But no one, except Amy and Isaac, actually knew that Chris liked Lindsay too. The two shared a look and a grin.
Lindsay slowly stood up, as did Chris. They walked into the closet and the door was shut.
"Um, well, hi Chris." Lindsay laughed nervously.
"Hi Linds." he grinned nervously.
Isaac pounded on the door.
"Come on you two! Stop talking and start kissing! Clock doesn't start til you shut up!" he called, laughing.
Lindsay blushed again.
"Ok, shut up Ike!"
She heard snickering from outside. She rolled her eyes and looked at Chris.
"Well, I guess we should start, right?" he asked.
Lindsay nodded. Chris slowly put his arms around Lindsay's waist, she put her arms around his neck. Slowly, Chris pulled her closer and leaned down. Their lips met. They both felt electricity. They kept kissing, coming up for air occasionally. Time went by faster than they had thought, and all of the sudden, the door to the closet flung open. They jumped apart. Isaac grinned as they came out of the closet. Lindsay took her seat next to August and Taylor. Chris sat down next to Zac. Both faces were crimson. Isaac grinned again and shook his head. Amy smiled and grabbed the hat and shook it again. She rolled her eyes.
"Tay and Aug, you're up."
Everyone groaned, jokingly of course. August giggled a bit as Taylor pulled her off the floor. Holding hands, the two hurried into the closet. The door shut. Taylor smiled.
"I love this game..." he whispered.
"Yes, I know this...." she whispered softly back.
Taylor bent his head and their lips met. Taylor smiled in between kisses. The two went at it for the whole time, and when the door opened, Taylor grabbed the handle and shut the closet again. August heard snickering from outside, and she began to giggle. Taylor smiled softly. Isaac pulled the door open again and grabbed Taylor's arm. He yanked on it and pulled them out of the closet, his face red with laughter. Taylor looked around. Chris had moved next to Lindsay, and they were talking between themselves. Taylor squeezed August's hand and motioned over to Lindsay. August grinned. She watched Lindsay, hoping to make eye contact. She was successful. Lindsay looked over quickly and smiled. August bit her lip so not to laugh. Taylor walked over to an oversized chair and pulled it closer, to be in the circle. He sat down and patted the seat. August smiled and joined him. She was half sitting on his lap, but neither one cared. Amy grabbed the hat once again and laughed nervously. She looked up.
"Um...Come on Josh.." she laughed lightly, her face turning bright red.
Josh's face also turned red. He glanced to Chris and Isaac, each who had a devilish grin on his face.
"Go..Josh!" said Chris, under his breath, but loud enough for Josh to hear.
Josh shot him a glare.
"Shut up Chris....I'll deal with you later." He threatened, a grin coming over his face.
He followed Amy into the closet and the door was shut.
"Hi Aims, hows it goin?" he asked.
"I'm fine, how bout you?" she asked, her eyes to the floor.
Josh looked at her. He took a deep breath, put his hand under her chin, and lifted it up. He leaned down and kissed her. Her arms went around his neck as she began kissing back. Pleased, Josh placed his hands around her waist. They were so involved that neither noticed the door had been opened. All eyes were on them, and they were clueless. Noticing an eerie silence, Amy cracked her eye open, only to see all eyes were watching.
"Oh crap!" she exclaimed, hiding her face in Josh's shoulder.
Josh looked up, his hand went to his face. He still had his arm around Amy's waist. He lead her out of the closet and they sat down. She grabbed the hat quickly and pulled out a name.
"Alright, Ike and....lets see.........Leigh."
She hurried to her spot and sat down against the couch. Josh sat next to her. She looked at August and Taylor. They were making out again.
"Guys, its not your turn, remember?" she said loudly.
August looked over. Taylor nuzzled her neck.
"Sorry.......um, we got, um, bored......"
Amy laughed and rolled her eyes. Isaac and Leigh had gone into the closet and began.
"Oh my gosh! I'm kissing Isaac Hanson! Boy, he's a good kisser.....I'm liking this. Everyone else who came in here so far seems to be a couple now. Maybe that'll happen for me........" Leigh thought to herself.
"Wow. Leigh's hot. I'm liking this." though Isaac.
Meanwhile.....
"Well, we're left, eh?" Zac whispered in Ellie's ear.
The two were sitting on the floor, leaning against the wall. Ellie was leaning on Zac, and he wanted to put his arm around her but was too nervous. Ellie on the other hand, was excited. She would finally get the chance to kiss Zac. She just wished he felt the same about her. He did.
A pound came on the door. They stopped kissing. Isaac looked at her.
"Over already? Geez." he muttered.
"What was that?" Leigh asked.
Isaac shook his head.
"N..nothing."
Leigh shrugged. They walked out of the closet and sat at opposite ends of the room. Leigh was disappointed. Isaac was too, but neither knew about the other.
"Well," said Amy. "I guess we're done!"
She eyed Zac and Ellie.
"Hey!" Zac exclaimed.
Realizing he had said it outloud, Zac put his head on Ellie's shoulder. He was embarrassed. Ellie was surprised. And happy.
