Well, you've found me! I was born and raised in West Haven, CT and spent one semester studying at Adelphi University on Long Island (yes, I now have the accent....so, it's pronounced Lawn-guh Island!) I was a mathematics and education major (yes, I did want to become one of those frightening people called a math teacher!!)

I now reside in Orange, CT, and work at Yale-New Haven Hospital on the 8th Floor in Medical Oncology as a Business Associate. I did attend college at the University of New Haven for two semesters, where I studied math and computer science. I am currently attending Southern Connecticut State University, where I am majoring in English and Secondary Education with a minor in Psychology. I am planning on spending my graduate years acquiring a Masters and possibly a Doctorate in Education. My ultimate goal is to work as a middle school English or, possibly, special education teacher in inner city schools (probably New Haven, CT).

My educational philosophy:

• During elementary school years, children are just beginning to learn about life in general and don't quite know how to shape themselves yet.


• The middle school years are really when children are most easily influenced as to who & what to become. Adults around them are incremental in this process.


• By the time the high school years come around, most students have already chosen their path in life and tend to be less easily influenced by the adults around them.

  I was born to two married parents......but, uhh, that didn't last very long. My parents were divorced when I was about 5 years old. Around the time I was 10 years old or so, they remarried. Needless to say, that didn't last all that long (about two and a half years if my memory serves me right) So, I was raised by my mother and learned all the cool "guy stuff" (i.e., the fine arts of spitting, scratching, etc.) from my oldest brother. My mother remarried four years ago and I now have a (half-...this part I usually cut off) sister who is currently seven years old and attending First Grade.
