Rates and Media Prices (US dollars)
Rates: The standard rate for studio time is $35.00 per hour, minimum 2 hours, plus media. Block rates are available with a 50% advance deposit. Rates include staff engineer and all facilities and equipment owned by ATM SoundWorks. Rate does not include media. Preparation of material to be duplicated, as well as duplication requiring real-time monitoring, will be charged at the standard studio rate.
Policies
You, as the client, will be billed for all studio time used beginning with the predetermined start time (see below for setup/teardown provisions). Any additional time that is used but not part of the original booking shall also be billed to you. Included on the invoice will be all media charges for that session. If you request the use of any equipment not in the studio's inventory, you will also be billed for the rental costs of such equipment. You will be credited for lost session time due to equipment failure that cannot be corrected by an equipment substitution or reasonable session plan adjustment. Balances incurred for each individual session are due and payable at the conclusion of each session.Setup/teardown
Each booked session includes, at no charge, 30 minutes of setup time prior to the agreed-upon start time and 30 minutes of teardown time at the end of the session. All musicians must be completely torn down and have vacated the studio by this time or additional time charges may be incurred. (Example: Booked time 2pm-6pm, arrive at 1:30 to set up and be torn down by 6:30.) If you need additional setup or teardown time (within reason, of course), please contact in advance.Please be punctual. If all members of the client's group have not arrived by 1 hour past the scheduled start time, the client will be considered a "no-show," the session will be cancelled and the client will be billed for the entire cancelled session; furthermore, all future bookings would have to be pre-paid.
Cancellation
If you have to cancel and you notify the studio more than 48 hours in advance, a cancellation charge of $15 per cancelled booked hour will apply. Unfortunately, we have to bill you in full for cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance.
