Bass Tabs

AFTER you have signed my guestbook (HINT HINT), check out these cool basslines, which represent the kind of bands & bass playing I like. I took a break tabbing since January of 02... *BUT I HAVE UPDATED in April & August of 2004 with new tabs by Fields of the Nephilim, Interpol, Nine Inch Nails, Siouxsie & the Banshees, & Franz Ferdinand!* I plan on adding more by Bauhaus, Gary Numan, Franz Ferdinand, Interpol, The Stills, The Cure, New Order, Joy Division, & others, just don't have them ready yet. So if you want more, keep signing cuz if you don't sign it, how do I know you were here?? If you have any tabs you'd like to submit, send em my way!! My objective for this page is to have the most diverse bands, since people have such varied interests. I've figured out most of these tabs myself, unless otherwise noted, & you can send me tabs at raquelle649@yahoo.com. Don't know a song, look up the cd with soundclips up at Amazon or check out the select sound clips, only about 30 seconds long, just click where it has *mp2*...if you like it enuff, buy the cd or download it. If a tab needs to be corrected/updated, tell me. Some of the tabs might appear to be messy/uneven for someone else's browser, but they're even for me, so I have no control of that. And don't forget to bookmark my page so you can come back. I did a rating system on the difficulty/easiness of the tabs here, just in case you're wondering where to start, & depending on your level of playing. The rating is 1-easy to 4-moderately hard, but no 5's. And there used to be a couple of bass player polls, but they don't work anymore... But the best 90's bass player is the deserving winner Flea (of the Chili Peppers, of course), & the 80's bass player was an ongoing battle between Mike Mills of REM & Simon Gallup of The Cure.

One last note...It does take time, effort, & know-how to tab these songs out. I have had this site running since 1997, & still plan on keeping it up as long as possible. Of course, it is free to view these tabs, or any tabs for that matter... but if any of you feel like donating $$, it would be greatly appreciated!! I am a working musician, & I'm sure many of you know how difficult it is, so any donations I would get would go for that. As an incentive, if people donate, I would update this page a LOT more often. Also an interesting recent observation were the Top 10 Tabs on this site.. which I've marked with #Top 10#... which, interestingly, were mostly 80s songs!
