Bad Trader Alert: Mike Wainstock (goleafs@interlog.com and wainy19@hotmail.com) has openly admitted to ripping me off. I got an e-mail from him with an apology, but until I receive an envelope in the mail I'll still caution anyone who visits my little page not to trade with him.
My want list:
*R.E.M.: Basically, anything, especially 1980s shows. Also, 2001-2005 shows.
*Tragically Hip: Got any HQ older shows that aren't on my list? Also,
I want Vancouver 95-02-25 (my first Hip show). Plus 2000-2005 shows.
*Kristin Hersh or Throwing Muses: Anything!
*Radiohead: 2000/01 shows. And one old one: Munich, Nov. 1 1997.
*Anything interesting from Belle and Sebastian, The Smiths, Stacey Earle, Bocephus King, Guster, Uncle Tupelo, Wilco, Seattle Bumbershoot '99 or '00
Preferences (if you have an issue with any of these, let me know and we can probably work it out)
CD-Rs: I'll take 'em, but I can't make 'em. If you're curious, here's what I have on CD-R.
Videos: I will trade my videos 1:1 for yours, or 1 video:2 audio tapes, or 1 video:2 CD-Rs. Unfortunately, Canada Post's high postage rates prevent me from trading for blank videos.
Sources: AUD=audience recording (w/either analog or DAT master), FM=FM radio recording, TV=TV show, SBD=soundboard recording, CD=I have the CD, STU=studio tracks, NET=internet broadcast
Quality: generally, anything in the A-range is good, anything in the B-range is not so good, and anything in the C-range is crap. If you want specifics, here goes: A+ means perfect, comparable to legitimately released live albums. A means not quite perfect, but generally crystal clear, with maybe a little hiss or a small flaw or two. A- is subpar, but still very listenable and clear. B+ could contain some serious flaws and/or noise and/or hiss, any or all of which will start to take away from the enjoyment of the tape. B means the band sounds distant, and though with higher qualities the sound can be improved by an equalizer, you'd be hard pressed to fix this one. B- is the lowest listenable grade. A letter in brackets indicates that the sound quality is inconsistent; the grade given is either an average grade or the grade for the majority of the tape. A grade with a question mark means that it has been supplied by the person who gave me the tape, and I haven't re-evaluated it yet. All letter grades represent nothing but my own opinion, and if you disagree with any of them, well, nuts to you.
Time: almost always rounded up a little, to be on
the safe side, and includes any filler which is listed.
