About this page and me
Liverpool Oratorio |
Released in 1991, this is perhpas the consolidation of a long process which began on Yesterday string quartet. Along with conductor Carl Davis, Paul composed this marvelous classical music work, with a very nice history. I dream of existing a movies version of this work. Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, Sally Burgess, Jerry Hadley, Willard White and the Royal Liverpool Philarmonic Orchestra and Choir, conducted by Carl Davis, make this record a nice piece, both for beatlepeople and ordinary classical music fans. Do you know the difference between Paul McCartney and Beethoven, Chopin and Mozart and other classical music genius? It's that they didn't wrote Yesterday, but Paul did write the Liverpool Oratorio
CONTENTS:
War - School - Crypt - Father
Wedding - Work - Crises - Peace
Standing Stone |
Paul was working hard in 1997. After the very well succeeded "Flaming pie", he presented the world with a new huge orchetral piece. "Standing stone" was written to celebrate EMI's anniversary. Paul, who reportedly can't read or write music, used a computer program to compose the concert, and then the orchestra took the project with Paul's assistence. Do you know the difference between Paul and Beethoven? It's that Paul did write "Standing stone" and the "Liverpool oratorio", but Beethoven did NOT write "Yesterday... :o).

The Firemen: Rushes |
Happy with the results of his 1993, Paul came back as "The Fireman" in 1998, with this outstanding "Rushes". It is less dancing but more sensual that its predecessor. Of course the "McCartney" myth counts, but this is a very enjoyable listening anyway. I's suggest listening to it with headphones or in the company of your girlfriend/boyfriend. You'll certainly enjoy it!!

Animal magnetism |
Linda McCartney contributed a track n this charity album. The track is "White coated man", which many people already know from the Oobu Joobu series. The recording is credited to Suzy and the Red Stripes, taking us back to Seaside woman. Linda is doing lead, but who's the band? It's possible that someday this song will give us a surprise. The album itself is pretty cool, and make a very nice listening.
