    I realize that it's been a whole 5 days since I last checked in with you all.  Times have been busy lately.  Tonight is the Mountain View High School Fall Sports Awards, so I will be attending the festivities in order to finish off my job at MV.  For those of you who missed it,  WWF Survivor Series ROCKED!  The Alliance is no more, or is it?  Stayed tuned to all WWF productions to see how all this nonsense plays out.  Special thanks go to the Means family (excluding Dan because he decided not to take part this time around) for providing us with the wonderful tape of the events, the Jenkins family for providing a location to view the events (and the Root Beer and Cheez-its), and also Newman Al-Shamma for eating all the Cheez-its.  I hope you all enjoy your special recognition. 
    For those of you who stayed up late to see the meteor shower, you are a bunch of fools.  I hear it wasn't that spectacular and it was freezing cold outside.  Sleeping was way worth it.  And now for today's rambling about marching band...

    Marching band was fun, until it ended.  Now, every time I see Robin Kramer or one of the instructors (excluding Craig Hiroshima, cause he rocks), I want to spit in their faces.  A perfect example of this is in the case of Mr. Rob Nieves.  He is supposed to be the "Visual" Coordinator for the MVHS Marching Band.  What does that mean?  It means he writes all the whacky drill that goes along with the music.  Now today I question just how well he performs his job, because for some reason, splitting the 27 trumpets into two groups and placing them on totally different sides of the field during one of their hardest runs is totally outrageous.  I'm not sure how many of you noticed this phenomenon, but its presence is just disgusting in itself.  Silly silly silly.  Anyhow, I only mention this because I don't like Rob one bit and I saw him Friday night.  I hate marching band!
