The Christastic! Quote of the Week:
"
A PAR MUST BE SUBMITTED PRIOR TO ASSIGNMENT." - Isn't it the other way around?

06/11/02:  Simply American    Well, it's been over a month now since La Dia De La Guitarra, and it's going slow.  My busy schedule has left me without time to get a proper instructor, so I use books to learn how to play.  And since we all know that I don't like to read, it's been gruelingly slow, actually, the pace at which I'm learning has been almost nonexistent.  One thing is for sure though, I've got the first 4 measures of Nothing Else Matters down to a science.
As we all know, summer is right around the corner, and this summer, I find myself locked away in the confines of summer school.  That's right, for 2 and a half hours every Monday through Thursday, and an extra 4 hours every Monday and Wednesday night, I'll be out learnin' the learnables.  What's on the agenda this time around?  Calculus and HTML.  What a combination!
So for the first time in almost a month, I actually read Dan Means' site.  I must first say that I have little respect for a website that is solely maintained by a dictatorship such as AliErin.  Secondly, the subject matter in all of his posts really have no backbone and lead to only mindless cracks and eventual let down.  My suggestion is that Just Plain Dan should pull a Jack in the Bock, and go back to its roots.  That's right, more of the man that made Just Plain Dan, Just Plain Dan.  You see, a title like Just Plain Dan is like a guarantee of what you are to find inside.  But when you click on your "Just Plain Dan" shortcut, and find nothing but the disturbing anecdotes of AliErin, one starts to think, what does Dan really stand for?  It's rather odd how a site titled Just Plain Dan is not actually Just Plain Dan.  No no, perhaps it should be re-titled Just Plain Ali and Erin using up Dan's Space.  Where is the honesty folks?  This reeks of false advertising.  Bottom line:  the Ducks were more interesting then Ali and Erin.  If I wanted to read a bunch of girls bickering about how they have a crush on Dan Tacci, I could go back to high school.  Count me out when the next Just Plain Dan bandwagon comes to town.
In other important news, I am now officially 19 1/2 years old as of yesterday, June 10th.  Only 6 more months until I leave the world of teenagership behind.  Thank goodness.

05/02/02:  La Dia De La Guitarra    Due to my recent incarceration, few of you will know what I'm talking about, I've had much time to reflect upon many things in the past two weeks.  First off, the life of the ever so popular (among it's 8 loyal readers) CATWF is coming to an abrupt end.  This all just goes to prove, that no matter how much you think people care, they really don't give a CR@P about you.  I would like to give a big thanks to Greg Jenkins who put up with me and really helped make the whole thing a reality.  It would have been great if you all just got off your lazy @$$E$ once in a while.  Not Christastic! at all.
Boys Volleyball season has now come to an end, as of last night.  Now begins the season of twice-a-week wrestling nights and lots of available evenings (hint to all the ladies out there).  To occupy myself in this time of need, I recently decided to take up a new hobby.  That's right, and for those of you who couldn't figure it out because you don't know enough Spanish to be able to read the subject heading above, today is The Day of the Guitar!  What does this mean you ask?  I'm getting a guitar!  And thanks to the modern day miracle that is package tracking (thanks UPS), I have gathered enough intelligence to determine that today, yes today, is the day of its arrival!  Why a guitar?  Thanks to my Nazi mother Adolf McCleary, I've been sentenced to an undisclosed amount of time in the house, and I've got to have something to do.  So, 300 bones later, my guitar was on the way.  I'd like to give a quick plug to the great people at musiciansfriend.com who made this purchase possible.  They have great deals, and I mean great, on all sorts of musical instruments and equipment.  Check it out today.  So today marks day 1 of my rise to super rock and roll stardom.  Check your local listings for a Christastic! performance near you!
Adam Kirby and Grant Roberts are rumored to be making their way back to MV for this weekends Laser Tag game.  Dan Wilson may also make the hour and a half drive from Livermore and bless us with his presence and wisdom as well.  Who knows what will be in store for us this time around.  For those of you who don't know this, Adam has had possession of almost ALL of my CDs due to my negligence, but it's no matter.  The miracle of computers has replicated all of my CDs into MP3s, so I can listen to them anytime I want.  Also, Adam has my black fleece sweatshirt which I stole from his house fair and square and couple years back.  He didn't have any clue who it belonged to, so I took it.  Now, he has stolen the sweatshirt that I stole from him.  How wrong is that?  So much dishonesty in the world.
If you hadn't heard, I've recently traded in my X-Box for a PS2.  Funcoland provided the services this time around.  I decided that the X-Box was too much hype for me to handle, and it didn't have enough to back itself up.  Worst games I've ever seen.  The PS2 brings games such as Grand Theft Auto 3, the best ever, and ATV Off-Road Fury right into my very home.  In GTA 3, "my favorite part is running over the guy who's car I just stole, with the car I just stole!"  Thanks also to Mitch for persuading me to make the switch.
The people in the booth are shining the red light, which means that my time here is up.  Back to making license plates now.  You'll hear from me again in another month or so I'm sure.  Until then, send autograph requests for this up and coming super start to SnareMV17@yahoo.com

By the way...  You are lucky visitor # Counter
