This is great! I was very fortunate in being able to meet Peta and watch the filming of one of the seasons new episodes on a recent trip to Toronto, Ont. Canada. She is INCREDIBLE! Click here to find out about the conversation!
So starts season 4. Was that a hell of a twist on events or what. Nikita as a cold, cruel, calculating op and Michael as a softer humanitarian figure. Ops hair is back to normal... and could we see a little more of Walter and Birkoff? Sorry, just kidding. A couple people have made the comment that the fight scene looked a bit like "The Matrix" I guess that's a bit true. I like Nikitas new do... Sorry Luna, but I think it looks nice. I only wonder when they will get away from the mind games. Ok so section has a lot of technology up its sleeve. Maddie "oh mother of Section" is alive (another nice twist), but what happened to Red Cell and our other foes. Did they survive Y2K? Or have the terrorists been wiped off the map? Is Nikita faking it or is she brain washed? Does no one take missions anymore? Hmmm.... musics still good though.
I have the code to get a message board up and running so we can post some ideas and thoughts about the eps from this seaason. I'll try to place the code tonight so we can get it up and running.
Nikita is turning out to be a cult classic around the globe, I've even heard it refered to as "the next X-files...". Whether or not this turns out to be the case, we all keep hanging on to our seats and gasping at the twists and turns they throw in front of our T.V. screens every Sunday night.
Now I personally am very new to "FanFic", but I'm going to dive into that concept on my page. As an ex-English major I'll be sure to add a few of my own, but submissions are more than welcome. Send them to my address at the bottom of this page. Criticism is also welcome. Try to be kind, however, we're not professional writers and all of use have lives outside of our page.
2/17/99: Quick update....CQS' convention was a huge success. Who are "they" you ask? A group called The Sidekicks Society. Visit the link below to be signed up for the URL minder so you'll know what went on at the con. Maybe if we beg really loud they'll have another con this year.
The CD has been released!!! I, unfortunately, have not seen nor heard it yet. It's getting pretty mixed reviews, but hey... you know we're all going to buy it anyway. I personally would have liked to see Rheas Obsessions "Cun Lacoudhir" or Philosopher Kings "All To Myself", but you know what? We'll all end up buying it anyway. I personally hope they make a Volume 2. Maybe if we harass USA Network they'll do it! However, you can buy it right here if you want or click on the picture of the cover. (This is made possible by Amazon.com, the largest bookstore on the web!)
