Jackson & Erica

Who would have guessed that in 1987 when Jackson Montgomery knocked on Erica Kane's front door and met his brother's wife, that 11 years later they would still be so much a part of each others lives. From the moment they set eyes on one another there was a deep connection. Despite their mutual attraction for one another they began as allies which then turned into a deep friendship. Erica trusted Jack like she has no other person except for her mother, and this has remained a fact to this day. They tried to keep their relationship platonic but the more time wore on the more difficult it became. As Travis bonded with Barbara, Jack and Erica found themselves alone together more and more. They fought the feelings that were growing between them and only when Travis betrayed Erica with Barbara, did they succumb to those feelings. Erica followed Jack to Paris and thus they became lovers and the most passionate couple on daytime. Jack, who had never been in love before, found himself falling deeper and deeper for Erica. Her love and zest for life appealed to him and he found her fascinating. Erica discovered a trust and a passion for a man that she had never known before. This man always stood by her no matter what and she trusted him beyond all else. Over the years they have fought many obstacles such as Custody battles, Adam Chandler, lies, kidnappings, trials, prison terms, and a child's illness. They have won some of them and some they didn't. They have tried to seperate and go on to other partners which would work for a while but somehow they always found their way back to each other. Even when they were not together romantically they were always there for one another through the good times and the bad times such as Mona's death, Erica's remembering her rape and the trial, Jack's disbarment and so many other times. They found themselves together once again in 1998, but the return of Erica's ex-love, Mike Roy, broke them apart. Will they ever seem to get it right? I think so! I have been rooting for this couple since day 1 and I am not stopping now!
