Living near the Great Smoky Mountains National Park gives me plenty of chances to go hiking and indulge in another of my hobbies, photography. I usually confine my hiking to the warmer months but I have gotten some great pictures of the smokies in winter, like this picture of the Ramsay Cascades. 
 
 

I got a hot tub in the summer of '95 and have enjoyed it ever since. I highly recommend them.  It feels good to have a nice long soak after a day slaving away over the keyboard. It is especially fun to be outside in the tub when it was snowing. Although in the really cold weather you have to run to get back inside when you're finished soaking.  Just don't forget your shoes. The path back to the house is over a very coooold concrete patio. 

Kirby

Don't be offended. He sticks his tongue out at everybody. Kirby is one of  the 3 cats who own me . The cats ignore the names Kirby, Punkin',  and Jordan. I also have two dogs who usually responds to the names Shadow also "Puppy Dawg" and "You're in trouble now"....
