Yuen Biao

Yuen Biao

Started out as a stuntman doing the hard moves. He can do anything from kicks to acrobatics and although he has never gained the success of Peking Opera brothers Samo Hung and Jackie Chan he has still been in some of the best kung fu movies ever. His big break came when Samo Hung casted him in the excellent "Knockabout" together with Leung Kar Yan.
My favorite movies of him are "Knockabout", of course, "Magnificent Butcher", and "The Prodigal Son". He can also be seen in cameos in classics like "Invincible Armour", and "Shaolin Wooden Men" and as a stunt in tons of the best films ever made.
Today he's still active in the movie business (recently was asked to choreographed the fight scenes in Jackie's "Shanghai Noon") and resides in Canada.
