The very handsome Mark Consuelos was born on March 30, in Zaragosa Spain. He grew up in Lebanon, Illinois, and in Tampa Florida. He is 5'10" tall, has black hair, and brown eyes.
He attended High School at Bloomingdale in Brandon, Florida. He received his College degree in Marketing at Notre Dame University.
Mark appeared in "Hello Dolly" at the Looking Glass Playhouse. Before AMC he was a guest on "Fortune Hunter" and "Seaquest."
He has one brother a Doctor, and a sister, an Attorney.
Mark joined the cast of AMC in February 1995 as Mateo Santos. In the show he has older sisters and a younger one. He is the only son.
He is happily married on the show to his real life bride, the beautiful Kelly Ripa who plays the role of Hayley Vaughn Santos.
They had a son in June of 1997, Michael Joseph, and are now expecting their second child.
His Sports are Softball, and Soccer. He also works out to stay in shape.
Mark likes to travel to Italy at least once a year, where he spent many years of his childhood. His favorite city is Venice.
